OBAFEMI AWOLOWO UNIVERSITY (OAU) 44THE CONVOCATION CEREMONY SCHEDULE
The University community of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), wishes to notify the general public and students of it great institute to its 44th conversation ceremony of it prospective final year candidates.
The convocation ceremony has been schedule to hold at the school premises after an agreement by the school organizing board.
Obafemi Awolowo University 44th Convocation has been scheduled to hold from Wednesday, 11th to Saturday, 14th December, 2019.

Wednesday, 11th December, 2019
(a) Award of Diploma Certificates
Venue: Department of Local Government Studies
Time: 9.00 a.m.
(b) Convocation Lecture
Topic: Education: The Key to Unlocking Nigeria’s Human Capital
Guest Speaker: Mr. Gbenga Oyebode, MFR
Venue: Oduduwa Hall
(c) Opening of Exhibition of Research Activities
Venue: Motion Ground
Time: 2:00 p.m.
(2) Thursday, 12th December, 2019
(a) Conferment of Bachelor’s Degrees, Postgraduate Diplomas, Master’s Degree and Award of Prizes to Graduating Students in the Faculties of Administration, Arts, Education, Law and Social Sciences
Venue: Oduduwa Hall Amphitheatre
Time: 10:00 a.m.
(b) Convocation Play – “OVONRAMWEN NOGBAISI” – by Ola Rotimi
Venue: Oduduwa Hall
Time: 7:00 p.m.
(3) Friday, 13th December, 2019
Conferment of Bachelor’s Degrees, Postgraduate Diplomas, Master’s Degree and Award of Prizes to Graduating Students in the Faculties of Agriculture, College of Health Sciences (Faculties of Basic Medical Sciences, Clinical Sciences and Dentistry), Environmental Design and Management, Science, Pharmacy and Technology.

Conferment of Master of Philosophy, Doctor of Philosophy Degrees and Honorary Degrees.

Time for the event: Obafemi Awolowo University 44th convocation will commence by 10:00 AM Each Day.
