What is catchment area?
Catchment areas are areas or palaces been favoured by an institution when issuing admission.
This mean one set of individuals or state is been favoured in terms of admission.

What do I mean by this, the school might decide to admit 5 candidates from one state from each department and decide to admit 15 from the other.

This method of admission is been employed deeply in state universities and employed a little bit in federal institutions.
